Our regularly scheduled all-inclusive land tours are an excellent introduction to the many delights Tunisia has to offer.

We can plan special interest tours that combine culture and history in conjunction with your organization's special interest or for your own private tour.

Turkey is an ancient country with a rich and diverse civilization, shaped in part by its equally diverse mixture of people and geography. TunisUSA tours are designed to provide the traveler with an opportunity to concentrate on a particular region, as noted in our one-week tours, as well as the opportunity to experience more expanded regions in our tours of greater duration. Experienced, professional guides, whose knowledge of history is impressive and understanding of the people is innate, lead all TunisUSA tours. TunisUSA tours are small group travel at its best. TunisUSA will also be happy to develop a customized itinerary for you, customized around your particular interests and schedule.

TunisUSA's Turkish operations are designed and overseen by the company's principals, Messrs. Jerry Sorkin and Kubilay Tuncer. Jerry Sorkin is the founder of TunisUSA. He spearheaded the company's development as a pioneer in developing cultural/historical tours to Tunisia. His experience in Turkey dates back over a decade and a half, with his frequent visits underscored by an educational background specializing in modern Middle East studies. Mr. Sorkin is also a noted authority on the cultural/historical aspects of Oriental rugs. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kubilay Tuncer, TunisUSA's Turkish director, has years of experience both leading and developing educational tours in Turkey. A graduate of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Mr. Tuncer has in-depth knowledge with regards to history, archaeology and folk life in Turkey and subsequently, holds TunisUSA guides to the highest of standards. In addition to his professional involvement with TunisUSA, Mr. Tuncer is a man of many talents. A noted playwright, whose plays are often being presented in Istanbul and Ankara theaters, Mr. Tuncer is also an illusionist, appearing frequently in his original shows in front of live audiences and on Turkish television.

Together, Messrs. Sorkin and Tuncer share their love for Turkey, its culture and its people in these special TunisUSA Turkey programs.
